I am getting really fed up with this shite about how Obama supporters won't criticize "their" President. It's complete hooey. Just do a search on this forum for "drones" and see what you get. Or "marijuana" for that matter. Why can't people read what people are ACTUALLY SAYING instead of what Rush and Hannity TELL them to think they are reading???

While others will be quick to think whatever they think about my interests. I posted this here because I saw it on CNN.com and thought it was an interesting criticism of the president. The panel of people (all of whom I don't know from Adam) present a wide-range of positions on the gun issue - I thought that was interesting.

With regards to Deutsch, if indeed he is a big Obama supporter than I think his criticism says quite a lot to both Obama's role in the gun debate and a segment of the spectrum we don't see here: liberals who are willing to criticize their favored president.
OK thanks for adding that. Seems we agree Deutsch's criticism was weak, then.

I agree, It's a fairly ridiculous premise. One would think people are approaching the politics of a large nation-state as if they were discussing the junior high student council.
