Morning after pill

Swampy - were you raped as a young girl?

Why are you assuming that every pregnant 12 year old girl is a victim of statutory rape? That just isn't true.

Yes I was. At the age of five.

I think any child under the age of consent would be the victim of statutory rape. Why even have a statutory rape law if men are left free to impregnate little girls? This ruling makes it too easy for these predictors to get away with rape.

I am truly sorry for your unimaginable horror, but I don't see where having a morning after pill available facilitates rape. I see it as protecting the innocent victim from an unwanted pregnancy. A man who is going to rape a girl would do it whether or not a morning after pill was available.

I guess band-aids should be prescription only.

Having them available OTC clearly increases the desire to cut oneself.

Well, there we go. Rape is no different than a paper cut.

I am sorry that you or any female gets raped, but why compound the trauma by forcing the child to become a mother.
Your scenario is bizarre, that a man would rape a girl then force her to take the morning after pill to cover up the fact that he raped her.
It may have happened, but it is certainly not what the pill was designed for.

That's horrible!

I suppose that's a good reason for your inability to realize that more teenage girls get pregnant from teenage boys who are also under the age of consent than from men. You simply are not seeing clearly. You see a pregnant teen, you see a rape victim. That is not reality.

I wasn't trying to stoke your rape fantasies. Just addressing the "promotes sexual activity among minors" aspect.

A non-Dumpster brand generic waste disposal unit.

(with a tip of the hat to Otto on The Simpsons).
