The thing that is most alarming that isn't mentioned is that for every instance that this happens that we are made aware of via various news sources, there are probably 50 times as many that for one lucky reason or another don't end in tragedy. It's pure idiocy to think "more guns" is the solution. Be it this story or the one where the guy's dog shot him in the cab of the truck several weeks back or whatever, people and guns don't do well in each others close proximity.

Without Howard or pooches we would be totally devoid and unaware of this tragic and so crucial information.....

Today a car missed me, by a hundred feet. Another one by seventy, several hundred cars missed me by a mile.

I didn't know either of them were privy to unreported instances where guns went off, missing innocent victims. Maybe they have a sixth sense. Is that what is being suggested?
