I just made a major discovery! (with regards to Premiere Pro)

Previously I was unable to find a way to do any kind of batch export from Premiere Pro to their Media Encoder app. This was very much a step back from what I had been used to with Final Cut Pro. Today I realized that while there is no command for this, you can actually drag the sequences you wish to export from the Project window in Premiere over to the Adobe Media Encoder window (an another monitor for me) and they will all go together in one step! From there you can assign the output specs to the group or individually. Time saver!

Can you highlight the clips you want in the open dialog for Media Encoder? If it works like Acrobat, it should then give you a dialog box to pick the sequence.

OK well now of course it isn't working anymore... Getting some kind of an error, may need to relaunch the apps, not sure. :villagers:

EDIT:

OK try and make sense of this, it seems that I can only add sequences to Adobe Media Encoder (AME) by dragging IF there is already an item in AME that is in the process of being encoded! If the queue is empty, paused, or stopped it will not work, AME will give an error.

The sequences only exist within Premiere, they are not rendered out as movie files yet so there is no way to import them as if they were files from an open dialog.
