iOS 7 opinions ..

I've reverted to a Simple 4 charcs passcode and agree that the 10 attempt lockout seems sufficient when coupled with Find My iPhone. If Apple is listening please goes back to the old login without the OK step.

Doesn't the iPhone lock up after a certain number of incorrect passcode attempts? A manual brute force attack on an iPhone where someone is sitting there punching in codes seems VERY difficult. I don't mean to be argumentative, just curious if an 8 digit passcode is really necessary.

I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 6 and use a complex passcode with it.

After typing the code, I have to tap a big OK button to enter it.

The distinction between iOS 6 and iOS7 in regard to the OK button is that if I tap anywhere near the OK button in iOS 7 it will accept it as a tap on the button where I have to be much more precise about where I tap in iOS 6.

Ah, I did say that under iOS 6 I thought I did not have to tap an "OK" button but wasn't sure (couldn't remember!). Thanks for correcting me.

Updated two iPad minis, mine and the misses. On hers the Adobe Overdrive Media Console went kaput. Can't download books from the public library and won't open the ones she had already downloaded althought a couple would open.

Not a happy camper. I let her use mine to redownload the book she was just finishing up the last few pages as it was almost 400 and some pages long, which worked fine on mine.

Note to self: Don't do a major update with misses iPad when she is almost finishing a book.

Any ideas other than delete the app off her iPad and reinstall? There were no updates for it.

Yes, bring back the weather widget. Other than that, iOS 7 is great. I put it on my iPad third gen but am waiting a bit to put it on my iPhone 4.

JH, reinstalling will solve your problem with Overdrive.
