I give up. How do you delete apps in iOS7?
#1
I stumbled on the method of summoning Spotlight on the iPad, all by myself.

Trying to Google deleting apps only takes me to force-quitting them.

I know I'll have to delete them from my Mac as well. But all I can do is make them twerk, no X shows up as in OSs past.

Hold your finger on its icon for a moment.
All the icons will start to wiggle and have an "x" in their upper right corner.
Tap the x of those you want to delete.

Duex, the problem is that no X doesn't show up at all.

Update: I had Delete Apps turned off in Restrictions. D'oh! Somehow your suggestion triggered a faint memory of playing with that setting.

FYI, the X is in the upper left corner.

Thanks for your help!
