No opening act. Intermission now. Lots of joking about being old. But sounding amazing. Would post a pic but it would use up all my brain cells making it happen with my palm pre. Fortunately for those around me my voice is completely gone.

Thanks. Me too. Just unbelievable how great they sounded. Literally. As in my mouth hanging open at times wondering if there was some sort of trickery.
Particularly Don H- the way he sings he should have ruined his voice years ago....

I remember the Eagles playing support for J Geils at Loews in Providence and the James Gang playing support for Mott the Hoople at the same venue.

Aerosmith played back-up for Mott the Hoople and returned just a few months later as a single headliner.

All three came a long way from then.

All at Loews/Palace <------ great concerts in 72 / 73
