I ordered some water filters for my fridge, and a thermarest cushion, from Amazon at 9:45pm last night. The USPS just delivered them.

I knew they were doing this but holy cow!

And I ordered something on Friday morning with Prime, and it's supposed to get her via USPS on Tuesday, after FedEx SmartPost gives it to them. They have managed to find the slowest method to ship a package 400 miles. FedEx Ground, or USPS First Class or Priority would have gotten it here by Monday, maybe even Saturday. But they have to go and combine the two services to get the worst of both worlds.

So how does Amazon calculate "Two Days" when weekends are involved now that they have Saturday and Sunday deliveries in some cases.

We got a package on a Sunday about 2 weeks ago. Definitely surprising.
