13" MacBook Pro model MD101LL/A HDMI out??
#1
Does the MacBook Pro listed above have a way of hooking up to a TV HDMI port?

I looked at the box, and the description sheet that comes with it and I don't see a MINI Port out for the HDMI adapter, like I have on my Black Macbook. I do see a thunderbolt plugin

Will this work?

http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=104&cp_id=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5311&seq=1&format=2

or this one:

No, that model does not have HDMI out - no non-retina MBP does, but yes, that adapter will work for you.

Does this adapter plug into the lightning plug in?…. As I don't see any other choice

My Black 2006 Macbook I bought the MINI DVI to HDMI adapter at mono price.

HDMI ~ Thunderbolt dongle. Make sure the dongle isn't just a Mini Display Port ! HDMI (MDP did NOT send audio out).

You are getting your terms mixed up

Lightning = port on iPhones & iPads

Thunderbolt = Macs

The mini display port is identical in shape to the TBolt port, it just does less.

Either of the monoprice items you linked to will work.

Some models do support audio out over mDP:
