she looks pretty so she's probably smart enough. thought she might be territorial.
You think my cat is smart enough to avoid a skunk since she got sprayed a couple of years ago?

What a pretty girl. My guess is, if she sniffs anything that smells remotely like that last skunk, she will steer clear of it.

poor baby ! Our dogs get skunked perhaps once every few years. We keep a container of skunk-off around for just in case. The stuff works like magic...

That is the right recipe as detailed by Jack D. I bet she does avoid the skunk. Most animals only require one skunking to learn. My dog got it once, left them alone afterwards.

I came close to getting sprayed last night. I was walking along a creekside trail when I heard some rustling in the brush. I pointed my bright flashlight in the direction of the noise, and there was a skunk taking aim at me. I ran and avoided getting hit...
