There was a famous local cooking show host who proclaimed numerous times "If your spouse thinks you eat too much garlic, it's time to find a new spouse"

There's a *lot* of bacon in one can.

Looks like a single serving to me. Smile

Yup, tell her to pack up her tofu and sprouts and move along. In my experience the smell of bacon is the vegetarian version of Kryptonite and works well as a general repellant with a 2" thick rare steak coming in a close second.

davemchine's suggestion

Could you make the bacon on the BBQ (very good) and keep the smell outside? Or perhaps cook a lot of bacon at one time and freeze it in snack bags?

works well if you decide to let her stay. Here's a video you need to watch on cooking bacon on the grill with a side of big thick juicy cheeseburger. http://bbqpitboys.com/recipes/smoked-bac...se-burgers It's not only informative but will help counteract the negative life forces being sent your way by the vegetarians. Be strong! We will pray for you.

You can always try this—coconut bacon:

From Kate's post on Sept. 7.

It's okay, say in some mac and cheese or a salad. Not going to satisfy a true bacon lover on its own tho.

My ex-sister in-law fell of the veggie wagon every time she came to visit us. A local burger place always turned her away from the dark side with their Bacon Walla Walla Sweet Cheddar burger.

It is kinda hard to get that greasy bacon smell out of the house.

Worse if you spatter all over the stove and around it.

I don't understand... why would you want to get the smell of bacon out of your house?

because it can be as nauseating for some as cigarette smoke ?

Go to a diner once in a while and eat real bacon. Problem solved.

I would use one of these to get rid of the bacon smell AND the cigarette stink.
