I'm on the ATT family plan of the person who sent it. I'm not sure what carrier he has. I have plenty of room on the storage. They were on our Messages app.

maybe his phone is faster and plays that video better? or maybe he got it via iMessages at full resolution and you got it via TEXT messages heavily compressed?

or maybe restart your iPhone?

I sent it to the iPhone 5 via text and it was blurry. My brother got the original via Facebook and I got mine via text.
