I enjoyed the show, glad reruns are on.
I love when a show's character's have inside jokes about real life or previous shows.
My fav scene had Shatner and Spader on the roof top smoking a cigar, and Shatner was worried about his "Mad Cow Disease" and slowly dying.
Spader said something like, "Oh Denny, don't worry about dying, you are going to out live all of us, we I'll be dead, and you will still be doing Priceline commercials."

Never really watched this other than while flipping channels. It's on my list of things to watch in the nursing home.

Agreed.
There were a lot of those gags in Boston.
I also like scenes that have two actors that worked together on a previous show, and when they first meet, there's a fleeting "You look familiar" or "Do I know you" moment, and then it's dismissed. That cracks me up every time.
I always liked Boston, and Spader was the real draw for me. The "Jerry" arc was very tedious for me, though. Spader had some good moments with it, but it for me it was quirk for quirk's sake, and that seldom ends well.

BL was my favorite show while it was on, barely beating out Arrested Development, both because of the writing of the characters. Both shows were ridiculous but ridiculously entertaining. Love love love!
