I would try and sell that 2010 on ebay for parts. Might get a lot more than you expect.

For example, replacement glass for that model is $50. I might start an auction at at least that much...

The flat rate repair is a little harder to get on anything over 5 years old. Sometimes the repair is not offered at all on a 5+ year old Mac.

P.S. A few months ago I took my 2009 27" iMac that I bought as a refurb in 2010 in for a video card problem. I did get a replacement video card, but it took about 2 weeks for one to come in.

depot repair is only for portables.

BTW, just bought a 2011 base i5 iMac (to replace a 2006 Core2Duo model) off ebay for around $400 delivered.
