It was only a matter of time...

I do have the snow blower prepped already:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A
WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

* SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE REGION EARLY SATURDAY MORNING AND
INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES ARE EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EARLY SATURDAY EVENING...WHERE SNOWFALL TOTALS UP
TO OR IN EXCESS OF 5 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

* THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY AS TO THE TRACK OF THIS
SYSTEM...WHICH WILL HEAVILY IMPACT WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW
OCCURS. TEMPERATURES NEAR THE SURFACE WILL ALSO AFFECT HOW
EFFICIENTLY SNOW IS ABLE TO ACCUMULATE.

* THE SNOW WILL RAPIDLY TAPER TO LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS BY LATE
SATURDAY EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BELOW FREEZING
SATURDAY NIGHT WHICH COULD MAKE WET AND/OR SNOW COVERED ROADS
VERY SLIPPERY.

:turbo: Makes me shiver to hear it.

Snowblower. Check oil. Fill gas. Start.

Nothing in the forecast yet, though. . .

I guess it depends on where you live.

Michigan shouldn't get worked up over a measly 5". Now if there were 40 MPH winds to go with the snow.

We're supposed to get 4" of accumulation tomorrow. I don't think the ground is frozen enough for any of that to stick around for long, but I'm almost ready for it. I've got to install the plow on the side x side, and check out one more snow thrower here at the house to make sure it's good to go.

Bring it, Mother Nature!! Confusedmiley-shocked003:
