Not excited by anything SW-related anymore.
I think that Disney has burnt out my Star Wars receptors.

I collected the original action figures. I saw Empire 9 times in its original run. But now I see Star Wars stuff and it's just so much noise. Not worth my attention. It's everywhere. It's not special. It's just static.

I had the figures and ships, etc....still do. The new stuff beginning with the prequels is mostly lame. Lucas pushed his luck with RotJ, all the cutesy ewoks. Luckily the story was still fairly good. The new SW was only somewhat entertaining imo. To me it was a huge missed opportunity for new storylines. Instead we get a rehashed Death Star and rehashed Darth Vader (oh sorry, Han and Leia's kid, whatever his name is.) LAME. Insert Picard facepalm here. |
