What's a nostalgic purchase you have made for the heck of it?

They released recreations of the old Mattel hand-held sports games a few years back. I snapped up Football II.

Danny,

Then you will appreciate what I have. The Times was throwing them into the trash sometime around 2005, I grabbed it for old times sake. I used one like it in 98-99, including throughout Nicaragua and Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. I sent photos back using Transmit on a Powerbook 5300.

Bought a Pentax film camera a few years ago. Only shot one or two rolls of nostalgically purchased film.

I still buy Hot Wheels occasionally.

Pity what happened to Matchbox, though, which were always superior.

I had one of these back in the 70's and I've been thinking of getting another one....or a train set.

Many years ago I purchased a 'bto' Rickenbacker 360-12 in Ruby Red (@ the time it wasn't a standard color) with chrome hardware and a vintage case.
Always wanted one because of McGuinn, Townshend, & Carl Wilson playing them.
Based on the last insurance appraisal, it was a very good investment.
