United Airlines website security problem—for weeks now
#1
For the last several weeks I've been unable to reach United's website because of security certificate problems, in Chrome or Safari (Firefox works). I can't believe that United has foregone Chrome-based website traffic for all that time, making me wonder if it's a problem on my end. Do I need a newer browser than Chrome 49 or Safari 5.1.9? Is HSTS some brand-new standard?

Since Safari 5 was released in June 2010, I'm guessing yes…

......seem to be trend.....frustrating to be forced constantly to upgrade all your browsers just to get basic service from a website......

I can connect to the United site with both plain vanilla Safari 5.0.6 and Leopard WebKit. TenFourFox has no problem either.
