"I can't tell you why it happened to me, but I know that I'm Muslim. I have an Arabic name. And even though I represent Team USA and I have that Olympic hardware, it doesn't change how you look and how people perceive you," she told PopSugar.com.

She did not elaborate on exactly where or when she was detained.

The more events like that
and like this http://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/as-i...-1.3972404
the harder it will be for the White House to argue that this is not a ban based on religion. Which is going to bite them in the ass in court.

Don't you think that's part of the plan, overthrow the one part of the Federal seperation of powers that cannot be gerrymandered? Then these... one-and-future Confederates will have their rule of law and order to benefit them at the expense of everyone else, just the way things were when this nation was founded by our Christian fathers who wanted to ensure the republic was only a democracy for wealthy men.

So might my son. He fenced saber and still referees fencing matches. In doing that he knows several current and past Olympic fencers for the US and a few other countries who train or coach here in the US.

"She's got a sword !!""

Traveling with fencing swords is a special piece of HELL. I lost two good foils to complete morons in Delta baggage handling (I know, a tautology). I had them in a nice padded case. They insisted I put the case in a 'gun box'. Ok, fine.

I got the box back. It was completely crushed... perhaps 2" high. It had tire tracks on the top AND the bottom.

Fortunately my seat mate was a lawyer. And since they lost his bag, he gave them (and me) his card. He got a bunch of new suits. I got new foils.
