Suspected Russia propagandists on Facebook tried to organize more than a dozen pro-Trump rallies in Florida during last year’s election, The Daily Beast has learned.
The demonstrations—at least one of which was promoted online by local pro-Trump activists— brought dozens of supporters together in real life. They appear to be the first case of Russian provocateurs successfully mobilizing Americans over Facebook in direct support of Donald Trump.

Those clever Russkies must get quite a laugh how easily it is to manipulate nearly half the voters.

But seriously, OK... this is not good. Is the US government and aligned interests doing the same to Russia? That's the question foremost in my mind - whatever happened to the days of Radio Free Europe and similar pro-Western propaganda? Did that all die with the fall of the Berlin Wall and the dropping of the Iron Curtain?

If you know it's propaganda from an outside state then I view it as no different that any other "news" source. If foerigners are posing as citizens of the targeted country and pushing an agenda, especially on the internet, then I do have a problem.

Yep, it's simply another source of illegal campaign funding.
This is nothing compared to the amount of $$ comes from inside the USA.
