Another fad that can eff right off.
Yes. I'm ADHD. Yes, I have a few bits and pieces at my desk that I fiddle with while I'm thinking. Mostly nuts and bolts and a bearing or two. They are small and unobtrusive and SILENT.

My daughter is as irrationally annoyed by these as some of you.
Every time I see a really cheap one, I buy it and give it to her.
There have to be lots of places in NYC that sell tourist crap that are cleaning them out for cheap.

A friend of ours has a client that makes 'em for the 1%'er's... they start at $300 apiece (for brass) and go up from there. And they are very smooth and silent. A far cry from 78¢. I sorta understand the premise, and props to the folks that timely capitalized on the fad. The money we save by not getting any will go towards chocolate.
