I'm confused. Are the supplied earphones unique to the movie? Or are they the hearing impaired headphones?

They are for the hearing impaired, but they are just regular bluetooth headphones. My theater has ones with excellent noise cancellation and good sound.

A little bit spoilerish, but left me really wanting to experience it.

Yes, currently in theaters and definitely should be seen on the big screen.
