Well, I thought grape might be a fun planter plant. I have no idea the root requirements of grapes but an interesting experiment.

Go for it!
Worst that can happen is they don't grow, or don't taste good. But the grape leaves could still be used to make Dolmas, and the grapes even if tart could make good jelly.

I carry an apple with me when I travel domestically as a snack without issue. Great and fun genetics project, however!
