true but Clinton would not have appointed unqualified, unvetted people to cabinet positions whose primary aim is to dismantle the government. This is the crux of the matter. Trump is trashing the Executive Branch and in so doing trashing the country.
AND there will be LONG lasting effects. I fear future presidents (both r & d) citing Trumpian precedents. The way washington used to work is probably gone forever. And we used to whine about how messed up washington used to be. If I told you twenty years ago that in 20 years, we'll be calling these 'the good ol days', you'd call me crazy. How could things get any worse than they are now?
