In the past, Musk has handled that scrutiny very well. More recently, he's said/done a few things that make me wonder.

Scrutiny or not, he shouldn't be using this man's work for his products without licensing or some kind of agreement. Musk taking time to act petty on this distracts from his work. Pay the man for his creative work or don't use it. The artist isn't going to make a living off exposure.
