Executive Privilege Asserted Over Entire Mueller Report...
#1
The Nut Job In Chief™ just asserted executive privilege over the entire unredacted Mueller report. That doesn't seem like the act of a possibly innocent man.

Nancy Pelosi, if you're out there, today is a damn fine day to officially begin impeachment hearings. I've said this nearly a dozen times on Twitter lately so I thought I would see if Nancy is a Mac user.

I agree Markintosh!

Holding people in contempt and demanding that documents be turned over (or we're gonna get mad!) when they know this is not going to happen is just weak sauce, unless they move on to serious next steps.

Fun Fact: May 8th, 1974 was when Richard Nixon asserted his own #ExecutivePrivilege to avoid handing over the White House tapes to special prosecutor, Leon Jaworski.

What do we believe impeachment will accomplish? A simple question.

I'm just trying to understand. How will it hold Donald Trump accountable based on what we know today? How does it impact Donald Trump?

In a country where the Senate acts within the boundaries and intent of the Constitution, Trump's trial would be eventful but he would be found guilty, as the preponderance of unredacted information and his own damn tweets can prove a multitude of felony offenses.

In this country, Trump would end up acquitted. This acquittal would then supercharge his supporters and even people on the sidelines. He would then be reelected in 2020. In that timeline, a nuclear apocalypse ends the Holocene era in 2023 as mankind is reduced to a few miserable survivors, roaming the blasted heath looking for food and shelter.

Barring Christopher Walken in the choir loft with a rifle, that could still happen.

His supporters would cheer using a baby as a human shield. Dems would've aborted it!

That just got me wondering how different Clinton's impeachment would have gone in today's society with the hyper-sensitivity/#metoo mentality where sniffing someone's hair makes national headlines.

Anyway, best case for Trump impeachment would be removal from office and he wouldn't be running in 2020.
