Then a BT connection prob isnt what you want.
Go to Target, buy some, try for a week, return if you hate them. If current apple earpods dont fit your ear well, you prob wont like the fit either. Id say my daughter only uses them 20 hours a day. ![]()

I have the same problem with PowerBeats 3, the part that goes in the ear does not stay in properly, there is no seal.

If I was to rank my best earbuds as a "10" for sound. The AirPods would be about an "8" for sound. With what little I lose in sound quality, I gain significantly in convenience and usability.
The best sounding earbuds I've used were wired ones with the squishy tips. Where you crushed the foam with your fingers and then jammed them into your ears, holding them in while the foam expanded. I happily use my AirPods daily.

If I were to rank my AirPod (first Gen) for sound as compared to my best, they'd be a five, at best.
But my best are excellent earbuds by any standard, and wired, and wired negates the best thing about the AirPods- mobility. It's doubtful that AirPods seal at all in any ears, but it could happen. There meant to fit most people most of the time, and that's not easy with 'buds that have not flexible tips. So not much seal. This makes them a poor choice for out and about where there a lot of ambient sound, but I see a lot of people wearing them. And with their very tiny non-replaceable battery, I'm starting to have trouble with one of the not holding a charge for very long. When on my daily walk, I now wear a pair of cheap clunky BT buds that are connected to each other. They seal fairly well, much better than the AirPods, so I can actually hear content, when traffic gets heavy. But I am conscious of these things in my ears every second, and of the wire on the back of my neck every time I move. Another time, especially indoors, I use my AirPods, often forgetting I have them in. So for casual listening, their my goto earbuds, and I'll be getting another pair.

I don't use mine to listen to anything other than voice which of course they are more than adequate for. I have many pairs of headphones and if I listen to music, even video gaming, it's clear that my Philips SHP9500s are noticeably better and those are budget/entry level for good sound.
