I've been learning to play the classical guitar, and I've started to get somewhat decent at it, so I treated myself.
My new baby, a ceder Cordoba C12. My other guitar is an inexpensive Yamaha CG122MSH.
The Cordoba has a solid top, sides and back. It also has a (somewhat) raised fingerboard beyond the 12th fret. The fingerboard on the Yamaha is just below 6 mm above the soundboard at the 13th fret. This height is a little above 12 mm on the Cordoba. The Cordoba has lattice bracing.
Here's a link to luthier talking about bracing patterns on guitars and lutes, and so on. It's pretty interesting.
