I have coronavirus!
#1
Well, a common cold-

Wife is sick too but her symptoms are different so that I think she has the flu. Maybe the Flu-B as she has had a shot.

So we have a sick house going and I'm wide awake at 4:45 AM hacking and sniffling but I just took my temp and it's normal (for me; 97.5ยบ) so that's a positive.

Unfortunately, I have to go running around today. Will carry my hand sanitizer in my pocket...

The common cold is a coronavirus-that's why the authorities are pushing the use of using the name Covid-19 instead of "coronavirus".

More likely you have a rhinovirus infection, but you already know that.

The thing that really bugs me is that I rarely, rarely, get sick! I'm blessed like that. I get a cold maybe once every five years. Back a few years ago I contracted pneumonia-still don't know where that came from-but my Doc gave me a Z-pac and it was done in two weeks. And I did get the pneumococcal vaccination after that.

But over the past few weeks I've been around a lot of people and some of those came from a ways away meaning I was exposed to bugs I am not used to. For one thing I was at a funeral 150 miles away with a lot of people from that area and people from out of state too.

Odd tho that I don't have what my wife has. I'd use the mask from the doggie except for the holes cut it!

Quite true. Only about 10% of 'common colds' are caused by coronaviruses. The vast majority are rhinovirus.
