WASHINGTON (AP) — The influential anti-Donald Trump group Lincoln Project is denouncing one of its co-founders after multiple reports that over several years he sexually harassed young men looking to break into politics.

The Lincoln Project in a statement on Sunday called co-founder John Weaver, 61, “a predator, a liar, and an abuser” following reports that he repeatedly sent unsolicited and sexually charged messages online to young men, often while suggesting he could help them get work in politics.

“The totality of his deceptions are beyond anything any of us could have imagined and we are absolutely shocked and sickened by it,” the Lincoln Project, the most prominent “Never Trump” Republican super PAC to emerge during the 45th president’s time in the White House, said in its statement.

One of his victims was 14, and there are many accusers. Glad he is caught and hopefully prosecuted.
Always horrible to learn somebody you trusted has a dark shadow life.

Power and pedophilia go hand in glove. Pedophilia is about power over children. Politics is about power over everything.

Just because I agree with the Lincoln Project.....

I hope this person gets what’s coming to him.

Republicans have a blind spot for this. Foley got a hand slap from Republican officials. Hastert only served time for making payoffs illegally. I am still waiting for the House to make an official statement condemning Hastert's behavior.

I hope this criminal goes to jail for a significant term. As always, the next question will rightfully be: who knew about this and kept quiet?

At least 26 women accused President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct, including assault, since the 1970s.

A deluge of women made their accusations public following the October 2016 publication of the "Access Hollywood" tape, in which Trump was heard boasting about grabbing women's genitals in 2005. Some of Trump's accusers made their stories public months before the tape's release, and still others came forward in the months following.

Trump has broadly dismissed the allegations, which include harassment, groping, and rape, as "fabricated" and politically motivated accounts pushed by the media and his political opponents. In 2016, he promised to sue all of his accusers. In some cases, Trump and his lawyers have suggested he couldn't have engaged in the alleged behavior with certain women because he wasn't physically attracted to them.

Right, but that doesn't count because it involves Dear Leader.
