We are wrestling with online game connectivity, and our ISP charges $10/month for a static IP address.
So we are looking into other options for peer to peer connectivity for games like Minecraft and some others.
We are using Logmein's version of their free 5-seat peer to peer network tool, Hamachi.
But we clearly need more seats, some games have 6 or more simultaneous users.
Some of these VPN-related services have been sketchy so I'm doing some due diligence before installing on any computer.
Zerotier offers a lot of the same options as Hamachi, and has windows and Mac clients, and more seats. It's not a full VPN.
Thought I'd post here in case someone is familiar.
TIA!
