Cool folding Phone concept
#1
I do not need a folding smartphone.

But if I had one, it'd be an iPhone if it could be as cool as this.

One more step in calling and receiving. Just like you have to hold your hand up with the pioneering Apple Watch to do anything.

First, for a huge segment of phone or 'Phone users, making and receiving calls is a lower priority than screen real estate.

Jobs said nobody wants a big phone.

He was very wrong.

Second, similar to what was depicted, Apple would/will almost certainly provide the ability to answer a call (even without AirPods) without opening a 'Phone.

No, you don't.

I can view the time simply by turning my wrist towards me, just like I did 98% of the time with a conventional 'dumb' watch.

Or, if I want, it can be switched to always on.

But I prefer the dark screen went not doing anything.

Other than telling the time or reading a notification, yes, I do have to raise my hand a little to do almost anything else.

You know, like all those things traditional watches can't do.

So, in summation...

A folding 'Phone won't be for everybody.

But it will be a 'thing' that a lot of people will wonder how they did without.

I like my 12 mini, but if Apple made a folder that was a little smaller and opened up bigger, I'd sure consider it.

Whoever gets the production version down, really down, will have the TARDIS of phones.

Whether I buy one or not, I want it to be a 'Phone.
