......2 months jail....as well as two years of supervised release, a $150,000 fine, and 100 hours of community service.....

Lori Loughlin sentenced to 2 months in prison in college admissions scam. Her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, got 5 months

....The actress Lori Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison on Friday for her role in the college admissions scandal, a fate she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, initially tried to avoid after they were charged by federal authorities.

Loughlin was sentenced several hours after Giannulli, who faces 5 months in prison, a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service, according to the US Attorney for the District of Massachusetts.

The sentencing brings an end to the saga for Loughlin and Giannulli, arguably the parents with the highest profiles who admitted to paying the scheme's mastermind, William Rick Singer, $500,000 to get both their daughters into the University of Southern California.

The parents got off easy. This is a slap on the wrist considering they fought this so much. The daughter should be prosecuted as well, She knowing participated in tasks and is a co-conspirator and beneficiary of illegal acts.

This image was taken as part of the scam. She is seen rowing which is interesting as she got onto the rowing program because the bribery said she was a "Talented Coxswain". The coxswain DOESN'T ROW. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coxswain_(rowing)
"In a rowing crew, the coxswain (/?k?ks?n/ KOK-s?n; or simply the 'cox' or 'coxie') is the member who sits in the stern (except in bowloaders) facing the bow.[1] The coxswain is responsible for steering the boat and coordinating the power and rhythm of the rowers. "

See the person not rowing? That's the coxswain.

Here are some of her real feeling about school that her parents are going to get a slap on the wrist for. https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities...te-quotes/

"I remember being a senior and telling my mom I want to drop out, which was like seven months ago. I was like, 'I don't really want to do this anymore because YouTube was doing well and I just wanted to focus on that.'"

"It helped me a lot because in the beginning, I don't want to say I thought I was hot sh_t, but, I was like, 'I don't really want to go to college I just want to do social media.' But now I'm like, 'You're so stupid, why would you even think that."

“I’m excited to do the school prank but I’m literally never at school. Maybe my class forgets I go there?"

"I don't know how much of school I'm going to attend but I'm going to go in and talk to my deans and everyone and hope I can try and balance it all. But I do want the experience of game day and partying, I don't really care about school. As you guys all know. "

Seems like these two fought the system and declared innocence until COVID 19 rolled around and they rolled the dice that a plea change would result in home confinement.

Ah, don't follow Hallmark stuff. But It is interesting the number of actors and actresses who do movies for them. And how many take place in Seattle and Portland, but filmed around BC.
