Damn AMZ.

I bought a eufy Pan and Tilt a few days back, in sale for $40 and tax.

The next day, the very next day, AMZ sends me an email:

'We're not saying we lost it. You may till get it. But we lost it.'

Sold and shipped by AMZ, to be delivered by AMZ.

So I wait... and wait... and wait.

No joy.

Today I call AMZ up and tell them I want another, but at the price I paid for it, not the $52 and tax it's selling for now.

'No problem. We'll refund in the form of a gift card and add $10.'

'Um, that should be $12, plus my original payment.'

'Ah, yes, that's right. You should have that in an hour or so.'


Three hours later, I check and there's just my original payment on a gift card, and the cam is still $12 more.

Another phone call tomorrow.

That's silly. Why wouldn't they just redo the order (at the previous price)?

Call to tell them that you received it but it was damaged. Chances are they will tell you to keep it and send a replacement at no charge.

Tell me about it. I ordered my pool pump (none available locally) and they've managed to lose 2 of them. I think there's a job action with Amazon workers right now. Amazon never lost items before.
