Sexy, yes, but “beast”, no.

The Elite Type 14 had only a 1.2 Liter engine and weighed only 504 Kilo.

For comparison, the 1963 Corvette had a 5.4 Liter engine and weighed 1,525 Kilo.

Cool car, but I sincerely doubt that is an original color. The color scheme doesn't work for me, especially the contrasting hardtop.

S relative of mine who sold them says the main purchasers were rich kids who promptly went out and smacked up their 'first car'. They then graduated to more powerful cars (and totaled those,too).
