Found out today a friend died from COVID-19
#1
He died back in January, but because how Covid had strained some lines of communication already, did not find out the cause until today (never wanted to ask, I actually assumed it was skin cancer). Leaves behind a daughter about to graduate from college (he got started late in life).Their family just decided to ignore all warnings, thinking this is all over blown hoax. Another Trump victim (I know he was a Republican, and I would guess a big Trumper).

Sympathies for the loss of your friend.

So many people gone too soon this past year.

Sympathies,

So many lives and families affected. All ages, all health levels, doesn't matter.

Welcome to Dave's BBQ!

Many have eaten here....

Few have died

Please accept my condolences. I lay these deaths right at Trump's feet. I'm sorry for your friend's death and sorry for his family and sorry he wandered off into the weeds like that.

Yup, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in my partner's mom's hospital room, gowned up, masks and booties, so she wouldn't die alone. I slept on the floor.

She lived in an assisted living facility on lock-down. Some staff member likely did something stupid and selfish at Thanksgiving, and brought it into a locked facility. Her whole wing was pos, as well as 3/4 of the staff, by the end of the month. They refuse to divulge the fatality rates. They are citing HIPA, but since the patients are dead, not an issue.

So a trained medical professional who was being paid to keep her safe and healthy killed her so they could eat candied yams.

HIPAA privacy rules do survive the death of a person for 50 years:

But in the case cited by Racer X the facility can disclose the death rate due to COVID45 as long as they strip away all other identifying information.

Yeah, I just confirmed via his Facebook page that he was a huge Trump fan. Damn shame, was only 67. Trump really should be held criminally liable…..I don’t understand how he isn’t held accountable in some way.

Because on top of all the other crap he has said, he has also at various times said things like, the vaccine is 'beautiful' and everyone should take it. He once said something about masks being good.

Here's a perfect example of Trump saying all sides of an issue in one paragraph:

“My administration has a different approach: We have urged Americans to wear masks, and I emphasized this is a patriotic thing to do. Maybe they’re great, and maybe they’re just good. Maybe they’re not so good.”

but he DID say that mask wearing is the patriotic thing to do, so... yeah...
