With demand for goods exceeding supply, why would there have been great Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals?
Major retailers (Wally-Target-Costco etc.) say that's just hype and are well stocked.
So how was your *Cyber Monday* ???

No shortage of items shopping yesterday night at Target, Best Buy, or Walmart. Nothing out of stock except for a few high demand lego sets and Switch games and the requisite gaming consoles and other insanely high demand items that have been out of stock all year.

nothing. Though something "in stock" I ordered from Amazon with Prime Shipping Oct 16th finally showed up. They shipped yesterday.

Nothing for Cyber Monday and I don't know if it's really Black Friday, but I got one of those Seagate 8TB drives at Costco for $120 on Sunday. Didn't really need it but thought it might be nice to consolidate some of my smaller drives into one drive.
I may possibly still return it. Don't know if I would be better off with a 14TB Western Digital for $200. The only other thing was $.99/month for another year of Hulu.

I got some software. DxO, among others, had nice sales on a couple of things. Was going to snag a Crucial SSD from B&H last night but fell asleep instead. Suffering from oldfartitis.

I grabbed the OWC Apple TV 4K 64GB for $119. I was really surprised that it showed up yesterday, even with free shipping. Got updates to several audio and photo editing apps and the wife grabbed a new Balsam Hill Christmas tree for 50% off, which showed up in 2 days, even with free shipping. I’m really surprised how quickly things are arriving.

Got a PS5. Was also able to get some nontraditional cyber Monday deals (not necessarily as Xmas gifts) but things that I want or need.

Nothing Friday nor Monday. There are just sales, no blowout prices like days of yore.
