The Best Places to Sell an Old iPhone Before Buying a New One

https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/iphone-...CAD3c77551

clicks provided on web page
1. Sell it to a buy-back service (names and links probided)

2. Trade in for credit toward a new one (Apple Best Buy etc)

3. Sell it yourself (from eBay to MRF sell/buy forum)

Your old phone is losing market value by the day. In fact, it's estimated that within 24 hours of a new iPhone's unveiling, your old phone loses up to 30% of its trade-in value.

Do people really sell their phone BEFORE buying a new one? Seem more logical to get the new one first, get it setup and everything moved over, make sure you want to keep it, avoid down-time, and then think about selling the old one.

my iPhone 12 mini has been decent since I got it last summer, but honestly the battery blows chunks.

I would sell or trade it for a 13 or 14 or even the latest SE.

I recently bought a 12 mini off of swaps as an upgrade for my OG SE. I have honestly been impressed with the battery performance. Have you checked your battery usage preference? Maybe you have an app that is eating up power.

I used Swappa for my last three iPhones. Then again, I don’t buy the latest models so getting a good trade in is less important. My current model is an XS max mostly because it was the cheapest oled iPhone at the time.
