First, Bill Stepien won't testify, due to a family emergency. My first thought was Riiiight. But apparently, his wife has gone into labor. This delayed the start, but apparently, they will use video of Stepien from earlier testimony.

Cheney is again ripping the Trumpistas apart, including "an apparently inebriated Rudy Giuliani".

PS - In retrospect, Pelosi should get some props for not letting McCarthy et al turn this whole thing into a circus. She has, as some say, sharp elbows, but I'm glad she didn't let bluster intimidate her.

It also explains why he won't testify: He'd have to lie about Stepien's testimony. He'll do that publicly ... but public statements are not testimony.

If Stepien had integrity he'd clapback at what McCarthy will surely claim soon.

They're doing a good job of driving a spike in the idea that Trump believed there was fraud ... or that it matters if he believed it.

At some point Republicans need to be held accountable for sitting back on their own positions that because "voters" or "other people" are upset, that those opinions matter when they don't.

I like Rep. Lofgren's no drama approach. Just the facts ma'am.

Very effective.

And now the bottom line. These lies were for fundraising. Marketing. He stole from the gullible.

I see now why many people were under the misapprehension that Barr would do a good job when he was nominated for AG. He sounds like a guy who won't put up with nonsense, although history shows that he did it for four years.
