Second Jan 6 hearing thread

I also appreciate hearing Barr's demeanor here. The former AG could easily have pulled punches but clearly did not when interviewed.

As for the Big Rip Off:
$250M raised? That's a lot of "reasons" for "believing" anything, especially from a conman who only values money.

Barr's comment about Trump not being moored in reality echoed Donoghue's when he depicted conversations outlining debunked conspiracies. Trump didn't challenge Donoghue on any point (because evidence, results, truth did not matter). Trump just moved on to "the others" ... and there's always an endless supply of other conspiracies when none that came before mattered anyway.

Flood the zone writ large. Overwhelm with noise and bluster.

Remember Trump's response years ago when challenged about Obama's birth certificate? "I don't talk about that any more." And move onto the next lie.

I like Rep. Lofgren's no drama approach. Just the facts ma'am.

Very effective.

Always an admirer. Also her former neighbor Mike Honda, who Ro Khanna carpetbagged out of office.

I don't watch FOX but I think the daytime programs aren't as star-driven as the nighttime programs. Tucker Carlson probably has the clout to force them to not show it, daytime hosts do not.
Some pretty nice PR for their election night coverage as well, although I've no idea if they could see that coming.

Dumpfs continues making his claims of fraud in order to continue fleecing his “followers”.

He apparently believes that if he simply claims that he really does believe that the election was stolen from him, that nothing can be done to him legally. The big problem for him is that he told us all his scheme back in July of 2020 when he started spouting off in public that the upcoming election was going to be full of fraud, and that he wouldn’t accept losing.

It never works when you tell people up front how you are planing to cheat.

I am a fan. Such innocent sounding questions…
