Follow-up to VIPOutlet thread
#1
original thread

As referenced in that thread, I grabbed one of those portable jump starter boxes for $19. Ordered Wednesday, shipped via Fedex ground, it arrived today. A couple of interesting things.

1. Item is brand new, sealed in original factory packaging, but shipped in a Walmart box.
2. When researching the thing before I bought it, a google search showed the same thing at the same price on the Newegg website, also from VIPOUTLET.
3. Since the package is sealed, I'm not going to open it, but when the recipient does, I'll be curious to see if it contains the charger(s), case, etc. can't tell from the package. But even if it doesn't, according to the listing on Amazon of this model, It's compatible with most 5V 3A home chargers.

Methinks not a bad deal for #20.

Does it have the Wm SKU on the package?

Only number on the item packaging is the actual Model # Epower-172.

Only label on the big blue Walmart emblazoned shipping box is the Fedex label showing it originated at Shipping Dept. VIP Outlet in FL, and the tracking number. There's another smaller label on the side just showing my name and address that looks like it's just a smaller Fedex label.

That was my experience too with ordering from them -- the microwave came inside a huge blue Walmart shipping box (a much larger box than was needed), with minimal shipping insulation inside that box -- I wasn't impressed with their packing or lack thereof. That being said, again, for the price... I wasn't expecting much... and the fact that they shipped Fedex, and relatively quickly, was nice. (Oh, and mine came from Atlanta, not Florida.)

Ah, VIP.

Vallery cut quite the figure, but Nikki was impressive in her own right, carrying a pair of 50s.

That was a fun show.

Four seasons of it, and I've got them on a drive, somewhere.
