Y'know what really sucks? I just ordered this and I don't need it. In fact, I have a box of old audio crap that I'm looking to get rid of. But several years ago I was looking at these for >$100, so this is a good deal and it may be something that I may have occasion to use. Going broke saving money, indeed. Sad

free at least for now. unbelievably effective.

I ran a clients audio thru it last week.
The camcorder mic was too far from the interviewee and was outside with birds chirping, prop planes flying, dogs barking, horses whinnying.

Result at 2x speed sounded like it was recorded in a VO booth.
Not exaggerating.

Yeah, that's pretty amazing, Fritz. Brings turd-polishing to a whole new level. Thanks!

it is. I dropped an interview from the same client that was filmed on the same camcorder at an awards presentation dais in a very noisy crowded reverberant room from 15' away. Sounded like utter crap and I said no way.
Again, results like a VO booth. Insane shiz.
