They didn't screw up. Using 'innocent' was very deliberate. They just exercised their entertainment branding and spin. Is that an true? Thought that went with criminal proceedings. No, and yes, in that order. It was in civil, not criminal court, fortunately or unfortunately. Fortunately, because I think it would have gone far worse for Ms. Carroll in criminal court. |
