Pull down menu on PM addresses. Yuk.

I just nearly sent a PM to the wrong person because of the pull down address menu. There was a name in the box and I forgot I was not replying. You can only select from the pull down and cannot write the name in. It's not paying attention on my part but what was wrong with writing the name in? or why not make it possible?

Back to the basement and no more whining today.

You can still click on the person's name in a thread or post and there will be an option under the profile to "send a PM". That's the way I always used to do it "over there" because of the odd spellings and strange characters of some of the nicks.

I agree - use the direct click method. I like seeing all the registered names, actually.
