Not a baseball bat. Used by truckers to check tires and for defensive purposes. Legal in all 50 states.

The comments are great on that SD page.

Also, apparently for "hunting"

I use something like this..... possibly not legal in all 50 states..... ? ? ?

Aluminum, not steel, also good for tenderizing cheap cuts of beef or pounding chicken/veal cutlets.
Bright LED light also good for disorienting attackers before whacking 'em upside the head.

Oooopsie.

The ad posting talks about this bat being heavier than “normal” bats and also not permitted in a game. And says that it is a training aid a bit like ankle weights, etc. I’ve seen the weights that batters use on their bats to practice with.

BS. Even young little leaguers don't use a 24 inch bat. And practicing with a bat that is so short would be of little value.

This same bat made the rounds on the deal sites a few months ago.

The brand is "Cold Steel" but this bat is not made of steel. It's some sort of hard plastic polymer, more durable and versatile than wood I guess, and yet more resilient than a rigid metal bat.
