The author should be able to complete delete their post that started a thread, if they move quickly enough.

But that's not an option.

Yeah, I measure twice (or more often three or four times) for typos and grammar before cutting, but I often don't double-check which forum I'm using.

That was never a problem back in the days when I purposely stayed away from this side. There's always a price to pay.
