Great Biden ad

Yeah, his State of the Union Speech is a great launching off point for a big advertising blitz trying to neutralize the narrative that Biden is old and feeble and has screwed things up with the economy.
I can understand people not agreeing with me on this, but I'd like to see at least as much of a blitz with good quality ads that show how bad Trump is.

Democrats are sometimes our own worst enemies when it comes to putting down our party's elected leaders.
If we stand behind Pres. Biden, everyone who knows they will vote for him even if he's not their own special favorite, he will win. Nothing the GOP does will matter, because they have a vastly inferior candidate.

To some extent Biden, and the Democratic Party apparatus generally, suffers (1) from the old "A liberal is someone who won't take his own side in an argument problem", and (2) not engaging in the kind of values-based, emotionally appealing campaigning the Republicans have been using.
In the SOTU and the ad above, I see some signs of hope that they are moving away from this.

We see literally and figuratively zero ads for either presumptive candidate on the west coast.

I like this ad a lot.
It shows stuff Biden got done, and stuff P45* didn't. There should be alternating ads with leading with something terrible P45* has done, and what he'll do to correct it. Lead with terrible things the Repubs want to do, and what we have to do to stop it — Vote Biden. I don't really want him to fight fire with fire, but with Nomex and a good right hook.

I liked the ad, but given that they probably had a lot of time to produce it, I think they should have done multiple takes with him looking directly at the camera instead of reading off of a card. the direct eye contact is super important in these sorts of ads, or anything where you are attempting to influence someone. sure, it may have taken a long time to get it done, but it should have been done (esp since there are so many cuts to b-roll anyhow).
