In the mirror universe, Trump is an enlightened stable genius.

I would expect Tangerine Palpatine to be more like Gill/Dear-Leader in Patterns of Force.

I thought that Mister Ed had raised that role beyond any shambling, posturing attempts to claim the title of "stable genius" by some out-of-town self-aggrandizing malodorous ignorant yahoo with a bronzer fetish.

Starting in the 1980's

In 1988, Spy magazine described Donald Trump as “a short-fingered vulgarian.” The founding editors of the magazine, Graydon Carter and Kurt Andersen, recognized Trump for what he was: the id of New York City, writ large—a bombastic, self-aggrandizing, un–self-aware bully, with a curious relationship to the truth about his supposed wealth and business acumen.

Oooh, this may be my new favorite nickname for P01135809, "short fingered vulgarian" but I am surprised that almost all the Google results for that phrase herald from 2016. No one hit upon using it in the subsequent years?
