A White House spokesperson, Anna Kelly, pointed to USIP’s “non-compliance” with Trump’s order.
Don’t know what “order” she’s referring to, but USIP is not under any president’s purview.
After that, “11 board members were lawfully removed, andremaining board members appointed Kenneth Jackson acting president,” she said. “Rogue bureaucrats will not be allowed to hold agencies hostage.”
