Well, my thanks to everyone who posted that they had gotten vaccinated, I called my Walgreens and was able to walk in today where I got the Covid and flu shots. Originally the first appointment was on Friday, 9/6.

Got mine at Kaiser Permanente, no charge.

I am pretty much back to normal today, which is about par for the course for me.
Arm, right where the injection was, is a wee bit tender, but other than that, back to my grump old self.

Thanks Ted. I pushed myself way too much last week and pretty much crashed Sunday night and slept for almost 12 hours. I'm feeling a bit better today. My wife seems to think it was a combo of overdoing it and heat exhaustion.

Glad you are feeling somewhat better. Better is better than not better.

Zero pain in either arm for the flu or Covid booster which I guess means my body didn’t mount much of an immune response.

Got my shot for covid. Looking forward to a Friday filled with aches and pains.

Got my covid shot (moderna) about 24 hours ago. No noticeable reaction.

It’s great not to feel bad or be sore, but does it mean there is less of an immune response?

Generally it does mean there is less of an immune response. We oldsters have lousy immune systems so we are eligible for another booster after four months, we are eligible for the RSV vaccine and we get higher dose flu shots.
